Qualifications

• Kentucky State Certification as a Librarian or Library/Media Specialist required.
• Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and teachers in utilizing library resources.
• Supervise media center operations and maintain inventory.
• Develop programs and displays to support student learning.

Skills

Knowledge of pre/post high school program eligibility requirements

Knowledge of differentiated instruction

Knowledge of data information systems

Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents

Education

Bachelors from an accredited college in education

Masters Degree preferred
