Job Summary: The Elementary Lead Custodian maintains elementary school buildings and equipment and manages timesheets and schedules for custodial employees. The position has a retirement association with the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS).

Job Requirements: The following are required:

• A high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.
• One year of custodial experience.
• Ability to interpret instructions and write reports.
• Knowledge of methods and materials used in custodial work.
• Ability to use common electrical cleaning equipment safely and effectively and to keep this equipment clean.
• Ability to do heavy manual work.
• Ability to supervise and to communicate with school staff, coworkers, and the public.
