Juneau School District is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for districtwide coverage at Mendenhall River Community School. The role involves cleaning interior and exterior areas and performing minor maintenance.
The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work nights as needed, with 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, read and understand English, and possess a valid Alaska driving license.

Working at an assigned site, cleans the interior and exterior of facility and adjacent grounds and walks. Performs minor maintenance at the site.

A typical way to obtain these would be:
Able to read, understand and speak basic English.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Alaska Driving license required.
Methods and equipment of custodial work.
Simple record keeping.
Perform heavy physical labor.
Work assigned shift including nights.
Perform minor maintenance.
Clean assigned areas within proscribed times.
This is a full-time 12-month position, working 37.5 hours per week, with a starting salary of $26.37 per hour.
