A Minnesota Teaching License for K-6 Elementary Education is required, and candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting soon after posting.

Job description

Elementary Kindergarten Teacher - Long Term Substitute

Salary Range: Per the Educator Agreement Schedule

Start Date: September 7 through October 23, 2026; Opportunity to shadow prior to September 7th.

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Work Week: 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday

Location: North Star Elementary

Student Level: Kindergarten

Position Summary Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer. NOTE: Possible consideration for other LTS district elementary teaching opportunities beginning after October 23, 2026.

Education And /or Experience MN Teaching License K-6 Elementary Education required.

Special Requirements Minnesota Teaching License required.
