Job summary

BASIS Ed Texas is seeking an Elementary Intervention Teacher for 3rd grade to join a dynamic co-teaching environment where two teachers collaborate to deliver instruction.

As a Learning Expert Teacher, you will tailor instruction to meet individual student needs, support a joyful learning culture, and contribute to high student outcomes across a K-3 or K-4 setting, depending on campus location.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
  • Valid Identity Verified Prints IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
  • Demonstrated passion for student achievement and ability to raise individual student outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one cohort of students and manage transitions throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with the Subject Expert Teacher (SET) for each class period.
  • Provide individualized or small group instruction to meet differentiated needs.
  • Establish and maintain behavioral standards to ensure a conducive learning environment.

Elementary Intervention Teacher 3rd Grade

As a BASIS Ed Elementary Learning Expert Teacher you are able to use your expertise in learning to address the differentiated needs of your students. Through the collaboration with you the Subject Expert Teachers handle the main instruction in the classes so you aren’t preparing multiple lessons every day. This allows you to truly focus on the individual results and needs of your students so you can raise their ability to learn.

Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree
  • Valid Identity Verified Prints IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Demonstrated passion for student achievement and directed effort to raise individual student outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as an elementary educator
  • Strong communication skills
  • Open to new ideas in teaching methods

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for one cohort of students and lead them through classroom transitions during the day

  • Utilize expertise in elementary education teaching methods to provide individualized or small group instruction to meet the differentiated needs of students
