Constellation Schools in Ohio is seeking an Intervention Specialist for our Cleveland/Parma/Lorain/Elyria campuses. You will deliver differentiated instruction, prepare lesson plans, and maintain progress records to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience in urban environment preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in.
• Communicate and meet with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
