Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking an Elementary School Intervention Specialist for Hilltop Elementary School.

The IS will identify students needing instructional intervention in language arts and mathematics and help develop and implement intervention plans. Working with the building principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction, you will support tiered interventions, maintain records, and monitor progress with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• New Jersey certification as an elementary teacher.
• Ability to identify learning difficulties in language arts literacy and/or mathematics.
• Ability to support development of instructional interventions for reading, writing, and/or mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing district criteria for tiered interventions in line with district philosophy.
• Deliver tiered interventions in general education classrooms and small-group settings.
• Plan, record, and evaluate student progress with ongoing assessment data.
• Use diagnostic/prescriptive assessments and timely reporting.
• Attend meetings related to program implementation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by building principal or Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
• Multisensory Reading Experience preferred.
