Job summary

Standard School District is seeking an Instructional Aide, Intervention at Highland Elementary School to assist in planning and implementing programs for students with regular and special needs. Under supervision of a certificated staff member, you will support instructional activities and classroom management in a school setting.

The position requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, CPR training, and the ability to help teach reading, writing, and mathematics.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree, two years of study at an institute of higher learning, or meet formal academic assessment required by No Child Left Behind Act.
• CPR training.
• Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of site administrator and certificated staff, assist in planning and implementing programs for the regular and special needs of children in the classroom.
• Support certificated staff in the execution of instructional activities.
• Perform duties to help in daily classroom operations and student support.
