Job summary

The School District of Lee County is seeking an Instructional Support (ESE) at Lehigh Elementary School in Lehigh Acres, FL. This role assists in instructional processes, working with students individually or in small groups to implement teacher plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 60 college credits/Associate's degree.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree and 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of FERPA, HIPAA, and student privacy laws is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructional processes, supporting students individually or in small groups under supervision.
• Prepare and organize instructional aids and materials as directed.
• Support teachers in reinforcing positive learning and behavior.
• Assist students with study skills and achievement of objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
