Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education; PDE teaching certification required.
• Five years of full-time teaching experience.
• Spanish preferred.
• Professional development experience involving adult learning.
• In-depth knowledge of reading processes, acquisition, assessment, and instruction.
• Thorough knowledge of instructional methods across grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Provides well-coordinated support for teachers and students for Tier 1 and Tier 2 instruction.
• Collaborates with staff and articulates the school-wide academic plan to teachers, parents, and counselors.
• Supports new district resource adoptions, pilots, and instructional goals.
• Models instructional strategies for diverse learners to enhance critical, creative and evaluative thinking in math and literacy.
• Coaches classroom teachers to ensure alignment with district goals and high-quality instruction.
