Job summary

Mastery Schools is seeking a dedicated support teacher to collaborate with lead teachers, foster a warm school culture, and support student achievement. This role is ideal for recent graduates or career changers pursuing a teaching career, with strong professional development and mentoring provided.

Responsibilities include co-planning, delivering small group and occasional whole-class instruction, analyzing assessment data, and participating in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Partner with lead teachers to implement curriculum and routines.
• Plan and provide individualized small group instruction.
• May teach whole groups in select subjects (up to two classes/day).
• Plan and prepare lessons to support instruction across content areas.
• Collaborate in grade-level teams to discuss student work and mastery.
• Analyze student data with lead teachers to inform instruction.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Provide substitute coverage as needed.
• Assist lead teacher with other student responsibilities.
