Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• An associate’s degree or higher, or completion of a local training program with assessment requirements in reading, writing, and math, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment and assist with classroom management.
• Provide small group instruction and one-on-one assistance to students.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of student information.
• Monitor student behavior and support de-escalation as needed.
• Oversee students during transitions and non-classroom times.
• Operate and drive a school bus as needed if CDL is maintained.
