Job summary

Indian Trail Elementary seeks an Instructional Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the direction of the supervising teacher or Principal, you will be an integral member of the instructional program, tutoring students and assisting in documenting pupil progress, plus preparation and organization of materials and equipment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, KY Para-educator Assessment or 48 college hours, language skills, and program-specific training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Passing KY Para-educator Assessment or 48 semester college hours.
• Demonstrated competent language skills.
• Experience working with children individually or in groups.
• Participation in KDE and local district program training.
• Program-specific certifications/training required.

Responsibilities

• Tutors students as part of the instructional program.
