Job summary

You will perform routine clerical duties, prepare instructional materials, assist with tests, supervise labs and activities, and communicate with parents as needed to support student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or progress toward GED as required by Kentucky law.
• Experience working with children in organized settings is preferred.
• Able to assist a certificated teacher with instruction and activities.
• Basic clerical duties and record-keeping are part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students individually or in small groups as directed.
• Prepare and organize lessons and materials per teacher guidance.
• Administer tests and score results; track student progress.
• Monitor student behavior and report progress.
• Assist with lab supervision and safety procedures.
• Perform clerical duties and manage classroom records.
• Operate AV equipment and distribute supplies.
• Communicate with parents and arrange home visits if needed.
