Job summary

East Harlem Scholars Academies, operated by East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP), seeks an Elementary Inclusive Learning Teacher to collaborate with a co‑teacher and deliver inclusive instruction to scholars. You will work with your grade team and the instructional leadership team to internalize curriculum, monitor progress, and manage IEPs to support student success.

You will help create a positive classroom culture, engage families, and drive equity and high expectations to prepare students for

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in relevant educational positions.
• Bachelor's degree or higher and NYS certification for Students With Disabilities (or in process).
• Ability to speak, write, and understand Spanish fluently (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a co‑teacher to deliver content to all students.
• Align curriculum with grade team and instructional leadership.
• Track student progress and manage IEPs.
• Create a positive classroom and school culture.
• Prepare students to excel academically and in their communities.
