Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance counseling required.
• Certification valid in Texas or transferable from another state.

Responsibilities

• Teach campus developmental guidance curriculum aligned to district plan.
• Assist teachers with guidance-related curriculum.
• Guide students to develop education plans and career awareness.
• Coordinate opportunities to recuperate lost credits, including night school and virtual school.
• Clarify lab classes vs. traditional expectations with teachers.
• Provide documentation for 504 and Special Education accommodations.
• Support freshmen orientation and transition activities.
