Job summary

Alpha is seeking a program lead to coach Guides and accelerate growth for a K-3 cohort on-site in Miami or NYC. You will use performance data to drive coaching, design life-skills workshops, and deliver sessions that connect motivation with independent learning.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years working with elementary children, plus leadership experience. Relocation assistance is available; on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working directly with elementary-aged children (roughly ages 5-9).
• Track record leading teams of five or more, including making hiring and performance management decisions.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Use classroom observations, performance data, and targeted feedback to coach Guides and students toward measurable progress.
• Design and deliver interactive workshops for K-3 students on life skills including communication, focus, collaboration, resilience, and accountability.
• Conduct one-on-one and small-group sessions that tie student motivation to academic independence and accelerated growth.
• Develop and iterate on replicable coaching frameworks that improve Guide team performance.
• Mentor and train Guides while demonstrating excellence in coaching and facilitation daily.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Business, or a related discipline
