Job summary

KEARNY PUBLIC SCHOOLS is seeking teachers to run an Elementary ELA Intervention Program after school for grades 3-6. You will work with small groups of students, focusing on phonological awareness using iReady Tools for Instruction.

Sessions are 60 minutes, four days per week, and conducted after the regular day at the home school. Internal applicants only; Title I funded program with district oversight.

Qualifications

DESCRIPTION:

The Elementary ELA Intervention Program will be geared toward students in grades 3-6 who are below grade level in ELA. Teachers will work with small groups (5-6 students) with a focus on developing phonological awareness using iReady Tools for Instruction lessons.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

• Program will begin the week of January 11 and conclude the week of March 315, 2027
• 4 days per week (Monday- Thursday);
• Groups will meet for 60 minutes at the end of the school day;
• Sessions will take place in the teacher's home school;
• Orientation will take place in December

REMUNERATION:

Remuneration will be in accordance with the current KEA Salary Guide. This program is funded through Title I. Size and scope of the program will be determined by the available funds. Duties must be performed outside of regular school duties/hours.
