Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates content, curriculum, methods, materials and equipment for instruction.
• Plans and implements lesson plans aligned with school objectives and student needs.
• Creates an inviting, safe and conducive instructional environment.
• Coordinates instructional activities with other staff to maximize learning.
• Assesses student achievement and documents progress for reporting.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with students, peers and parents.
• Participates in staff development and curriculum meetings.
• Administers and records local assessments and tests as appropriate.
