Job summary

Sinai Akiba Academy in Los Angeles seeks a dynamic General and Judaic Studies Teaching Assistant to support lead teachers in kindergarten through 5th grade. You will assist with curriculum, materials, small groups, and student development during class, recess, lunch, and activities.

The TA will collaborate with Staffulty, implement RULER and Responsive Classroom practices, and participate in professional development and interdisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Hebrew required.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English required.

Responsibilities

• Assist General and Judaic Studies lead teachers with curriculum implementation, assessment, and student engagement.
• Differentiate instruction using materials and techniques guided by lead teachers or learning specialists.
• Collaborate and implement lesson plans as designated by lead teachers.
• Assist in tracking student progress and completing assignments.
