North Shore Hebrew Academy in Great Neck, NY is seeking a caring, experienced Judaic Studies Elementary School Classroom Teacher for a full-time role. The teacher will plan lessons, differentiate instruction, assess progress, and support students’ social-emotional growth while communicating with parents.

Ideal candidates have Hebrew fluency, experience as a head teacher in elementary school, and a collaborative approach. MA in education preferred; TalAM experience is a plus.

Judaic Studies Elementary School Classroom Teacher

We are seeking a caring, experienced and dynamic teacher to join our Elementary Judaic Studies team as a classroom teacher. An ideal candidate will have experience teaching Hebrew and Judaic Studies through whole group, small group and independent instruction. Teachers are responsible for planning lessons, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing student learning, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues. An ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for teaching Judaic studies, a love of teaching children, and a desire to model observant Jewish living.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Salary Range: $60,000-75,000
