Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• NY valid state teaching certification/license for the grade level and subject area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district standards.
• Deliver instruction using varied teaching methods to meet diverse learners.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, projects, and participation.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules for a safe learning environment.
• Differentiate instruction to support varying abilities and learning styles.
• Collaborate with special education staff, counselors, and support staff.
• Communicate progress and concerns with parents/guardians.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
• Utilize educational technology to enhance learning.
• Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
