• Must be able to use a variety of equipment and classroom tools such as computers, copiers, typewriters, calculators, pencils, scissors, and equipment for children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments to help students learn subject matter and skills.
• Manage instructional time to keep classes on task and active.
• Establish and maintain rules and procedures for student behavior and monitor performance.
• Present lessons clearly with appropriate examples and demonstrations and ensure assignments are understood.
• Monitor student progress using various work products and questioning techniques.
• Provide feedback on in-class and out-of-class work to promote growth.
• Develop objectives and tasks using diagnostic information and align with curricular goals.
• Interact fairly with students, co-workers, parents, and community.
• Perform non-instructional duties as assigned and comply with laws and school policies.
