Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and conduct instruction based on Mississippi Standards/Frameworks.
• Maintain pupil safety and general welfare; supervise students as assigned.
• Participate in pre-school conferences and in-service training programs.
• Keep classes in session during school hours with proper principal approval.
• Maintain accurate records of grading, attendance, and student progress.
• Develop lessons and translate plans into learning experiences to challenge students.
• Promote a safe classroom environment and communicate with parents.
