Job summary

Responsibilities include supervision, life-skills support, motor skills assistance, inclusion efforts, and adherence to safety plans. The position requires Grade 12, a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and willingness to engage in ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid Driver's License.
• Post-secondary courses in related fields from a recognized program.
• Experience in human services is an asset.
• Proficiency with computers and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classroom during short periods under teacher guidance.
• Assist with life skills activities and progress evaluation.
• Support intensive motor skill development.
• Reinforce social and personal skills for inclusion.
• Assist with Inclusion and Intervention Plan goals.
• Provide support for therapeutic activities as needed.
• Observe progress at team meetings.
• Follow safety plans for behavior.
• Attend meetings as requested.
