Job summary

Medford School District 549C is seeking an Educational Support Staff member for Jacksonville Elementary. This is a permanent, 8.0 hour/day position to begin during the 2026-2027 school year.

Our mission focuses on equity and achievement for all students. The role supports teachers, assists with literacy and math interventions, supervises students, and performs clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent.
• No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements.
• Ability to interact appropriately with teachers, staff and students.
• Fluent in English; Spanish preferred.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in instructional settings.
• Support literacy and math interventions for reading, writing, and math.
• Prepare assignments and organize student work binders.
• Deliver small-group instruction using teacher-designed materials.
• Read to students in one-on-one or small groups.
• Record and report student progress and data.
