Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead, mentor, and implement our early childhood curriculum at our centers. You will create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, while partnering with families to support each child’s development.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork with center staff, and adherence to licensing and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to ensure the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
