Job summary

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, valid Texas teaching certificate, completion of Texas Reading Academy for Elementary, and ESL supplemental certification preferred. The position is in-person and reports to the Campus Principal.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans for the assigned subject area.
• Present material according to guidelines of TEA and district policies.
• Use data to plan and adjust instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed.
• Cooperate with staff to plan goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Utilize technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
• Monitor student growth with formative and summative assessments.
• Possibly sponsor extracurricular activities as assigned.
