Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement with fidelity all K-5 guidance curriculum.
- Work closely with staff to schedule the implementation of guidance curriculum K-5.
- Track behavior intervention data with staff.
- Analyze intervention data and report trends to staff.
- Facilitate MTSS meetings for students with behavior concerns.
- Serve as SIT team leader/member for attendance, behavior, and academics.
- Determine effectiveness of intervention procedures and lead development of new policies/procedures.
- Analyze attendance/tardy trends and report them to staff.
- Work closely with staff, students, and families to improve attendance and student tardiness.
- Make home visits as needed.
- Be an active member of the building CRVP team.
- Connect families to needed community resources and support homeless families.
- Respond and support families, staff, and students during times of crisis.
- Address bullying incidents proactively and work to curb incidents of bullying.
- Analyze and report bullying data to staff.
- Conduct groups to address various student issues that promote positive social and emotional development.
- Actively participate in all building initiatives.
- Supervise playground as needed to develop relationships and work with support staff.
- Assist with staff development as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Will provide interventions as needed.

- Demonstrate effective communication with students, parents, staff, and community members.
- Willingness to participate in staff development and utilize collaborative teacher teams.

- Willingness to support and implement DT’s multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) for both behavior and academics.
- Skilled in or willing to be trained in MTSS and PBIS.
- Co‑lead the PBIS team and oversee its implementation.
- Collaborate with the Family Support Liaison, School‑Based Therapist, and community agencies.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly must:
- Sit, stand, speak, hear, see, and walk to carry out routine duties.
- Occasionally lift, move, or push items of 50 lbs., such as assisting children or moving furniture.
- Supervise students in all weather conditions.
- Meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
- Implement Crisis Prevention Intervention strategies, including appropriate physical restraint procedures and escorting.
