Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual responsible for developing and delivering engaging and effective instruction to students in their assigned subject area. The position requires a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the curriculum, subject content, pedagogical knowledge and the needs of students by providing relevant learning experiences
  • Plans using state and local school district curricula and standards, effective strategies, resources and data to address the differentiated needs of all students
  • Systematically chooses a variety of diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment strategies and instruments that are valid and appropriate for the content and student population.
  • Challenges and supports each student’s learning by providing appropriate content and developing skills that address individual learning differences
  • Systematically gathers, analyzes, and uses relevant data to measure student progress to inform instructional content and delivery methods, and to provide timely and constructive feedback to both students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education
  • Attend parent-teacher conferences and communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and performance
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
  • Valid Georgia teaching certification in the relevant subject area

  • Strong knowledge of subject matter and ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to students
