Provides instruction in a typical elementary setting, aligns with curriculum, and supports students with IEPs as needed. Collaboration with staff, FERPA compliance, and consistent attendance are required.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan teacher certification required.
• Elementary K-5 All Subjects (ZG) endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with district curriculum.
• Assess students' proficiency levels and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed.
• Collaborate with special education staff to provide IEP accommodations.
