Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
• Maryland Educator Certificate or eligibility for the assignment area.
• Strong knowledge of pedagogy and curriculum development.
• Ability to analyze data and use instructional materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment, both in-person and virtually.
• Plans and implements instructional programs aligned with system goals.
• Prepares and documents lesson plans based on curricula.
• Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents.
• Maintains student records and monitors progress.
• Oversee textbooks, materials, facilities, and equipment.
• Collaborates with administrators, other teachers, paraeducators, parents, and community members.
• Attend staff meetings. Serves on various committees.
