Job summary

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools is seeking an Elementary Teacher Assistant to support classroom activities and assist with student learning. Qualifications

• Must have either 48 semester hours of education, or passing scores on WorkKeys tests for Reading, Writing, Mathematics.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in providing a well-organized classroom.
• Guide independent study and remedial activities.
• Supervise students during meals and activities.
