Responsibilities include following lesson plans, maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring student safety while supporting the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will hold or be eligible for a North Dakota teaching license or Interim Substitute license; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a North Dakota teaching license or Interim Substitute license.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Eligible to work as a substitute teacher in the district.

Responsibilities

• Maintain classroom discipline and follow regular classroom procedures.
• Follow lesson plans and carry out the daily curriculum.
• Discipline and manage student behavior; provide quality feedback.
• Model positive behavior and ensure student safety.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Flexibility to work across district schools as needed.
• Complete incident reports and document daily activities.
