Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; ECCAT certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Participate in professional development sessions.
• Assist teacher with planning, preparation, and distribution of materials.
• Conduct learning activities with students, individually or in groups.
• Maintain attendance and comply with the Employee Code of Conduct.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment and address student needs.
• Assist with supervision of children in various locations in the school.
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to reinforce skills taught by the teacher.
• Assist with implementing lessons aligned with district and school objectives.
• Attend in-services and workshops as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
