VALLEY VIEW ELEMENTARY in Martinsburg, West Virginia is seeking an ECCAT/Supervisory Aide for Grades Kindergarten through Third Grade. The aide assists the teacher and supports language, literacy and numeracy development, delivering focused instruction in small groups or one-to-one.

The role requires a high school diploma and state requirements; work hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, 200 days per year, with salary between $32,440 and $44,950 plus benefits. Start date is November 18, 2026.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal background check as per WV Code §18-5-15c.
• ECCAT authorization eligibility required or pursued.

Responsabilités

• Assist teacher in planning, preparation, and distribution of materials.
• Conduct learning activities and games with students.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to laws and policies.
• Ensure a safe learning environment and address crises.
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction as needed.
• Supervise students during transportation and other duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity.
