The Building Substitute provides flexible classroom coverage, supports instruction, and helps with operations such as arrival and dismissal, transitions, and student supervision across multiple classrooms.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in educational settings required.
• Background checks: PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Cogent Federal Fingerprinting required before start.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a flexible substitute teacher across the building.
• Provide high-quality instructional support in whole and small group settings.
• Lead classroom activities and tutoring as needed.
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, transitions, and supervision.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
