SUMMARY: Serve as an assistant coach of an elementary athletic sport following Laramie County School District #1 guidelines; provide supervision of student athletes during their participation in the program; use sound instructional techniques; and serve as a positive role model to student athletes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty/function satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Musthave a high school diploma or equivalent.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of sport equipment to provide proper maintenance and storage.


• Knowledge of sport equipment to ensure proper use and safety of student athletes.

• Responsible for supervising the behavior and well-being of students in the program.
