Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teaches the basics of art.
• Correlates art with other subjects such as language arts and science.
• Works with Building Administrator to provide art instruction.
• Promotes enjoyment of various forms of art with varied opportunities.
• Collaborates with other art staff to plan lessons.
• Assists classroom teachers in incorporating art into their curriculum.
• Attends in-service classes, building and district meetings as requested.
• Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Has regular and predictable attendance.
