  • Proficient and qualified to teach music to students in preschool through grade 5th grade, developing skills in rhythm and melody according to developmental levels

    Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Vancouver, WA, is seeking an Elementary and Middle School Music Teacher who canjoin our team beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. Our Music Teacher will collaborate with staff and the school community to ensure that we fulfill the mission of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School (located in Vancouver, Washington), fostering faith-filled students, lifelong learners, and good citizens. We are looking for someone with positive energy and a team player.

    In addition to Music, this candidate must be committed to teaching the faith and providing all students with an equitable and inclusive education in a community that celebrates its diversity. Applicants should be passionate about Catholic education, interested in working as part of the preschool team, the elementary team (Grades k - 5) and middle school team (Grades 6-8), be comfortable using educational technology in instruction, able to differentiate instruction, and make regular use of formal and informal assessments as an integral part of curriculum planning and instruction. Candidates need to hold or be working toward a current Washington State teaching certificate endorsed in Elementary Education, or other certification approved by the State of Washington. Preference will be given to candidates with successful teaching experience.
