Job summary

Plain City Elementary is seeking a PT Elementary Aide to support reading and math interventions, lunchroom supervision, and classroom activities. Location: Weber School District, Ogden, Utah. Schedule is 5.5 hours per day (27.5 hours/week) over a 180-day calendar.

This temporary role may be extended based on funding and needs. Under supervision of the principal and teachers, you will help with instructional materials, student supervision, and targeted support to keep learning environments safe

Qualifications

• Temporary position

• Hours: 5.5 hours/day (27.5 hours/week)

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation of instructional materials
• Assists in instruction of students and classroom activities
• Tutors students individually or in small groups
• Supports students with disabilities including data collection and implementing plans
• Assists with tests and monitors progress
• Maintains confidentiality and effective communication with staff
• Participates in school events as directed by administration
