Job summary

Oakland Leaf is seeking an Elementary Program Instructor to lead engaging activities for 20 TK–5th grade students in Oakland, CA. This hourly, seasonal role focuses on health, arts, and STEAM themes while building strong student relationships.

You will facilitate curriculum with energy, support social-emotional growth, and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment throughout the program day.

• Ability to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver developmentally appropriate activities for 20 elementary students.
• Foster a warm, inclusive learning environment aligned with program plans.
• Support social-emotional growth and student engagement daily.
• Maintain student safety and supervise groups during program hours.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator to ensure smooth program operations.
