Job summary

Soliant Health in the North Denver area is seeking a Special Education Teacher focused on affective needs for elementary students. This on-site contract role at Leroy Elementary runs 37.5 hours per week and begins as soon as possible through October 2nd.

You will develop IEPs, collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff, and ensure compliant practices in a supportive school setting.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Teacher License with a Special Education Generalist Endorsement for ages 5–21.
• Experience in special education, ideally in affective needs programs.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to completing onboarding and credentialing documents promptly.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialized instruction and intervention for elementary students with affective needs at Leroy Elementary.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, families, and support staff.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Track student progress and communicate outcomes to parents and educational teams.
• Ensure compliance with education standards and district policies.
