Job summary

Thorup Tutoring is seeking an Academic Coach/Tutor for the Elementary School category. The role involves in-person sessions and occasional online tutoring, focusing on individual student progress and setting achievable goals.

Ideal candidates have experience in teaching or tutoring, can build strong rapport with families, and are comfortable tutoring up to 5th grade math. The position offers part-time hours with a supportive, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields is preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to tutor children up through 5th grade math.
