District 303 seeks an Elementary Special Education Resource Teacher, Long-Term Substitute (LTS) for the RISE program at Norton Creek Elementary School. Approximate dates are 3/3/27 – 5/31/27. Minimum requirement: LBS1 endorsement. Applicants must have one of the IL licenses described and provide two letters of reference plus a fingerprint background check.

Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate: $220 per day. Additional details are available on the District 303 website and in the Substitute Handbook.

• LBS1 endorsement required or active Illinois teaching credentials.
• To work with our Substitute Team you need one of: an IL Professional Teaching License (PEL) or IL Substitute License (SUB).
• Two letters of reference and fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE are required.

Responsabilidades

• Cover elementary special education classes in the RISE program at Norton Creek Elementary as needed.
• Collaborate with the substitute team and school staff to support students’ IEP goals.

Minimum Requirement: LBS1 endorsement

To work as part of our Substitute Team, you will need one of the following: a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL), Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) (requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education). We do not accept Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses in D303.

• Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate: $220 per day
