Scott Engineering, Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Painter to operate electrostatic and conventional spray guns for painting metal cabinets and interior fixtures. The role involves maintaining spray booths and paint equipment, and assisting other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Apply coating/paint using electric static airless spray guns.
• Maintain and repair painting equipment, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Work effectively as part of a team and aim to improve skills and knowledge.
• Apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings in a manufacturing setting.
• Prepare surfaces, mix 2- and 3-component coatings, and apply performance coatings on steel.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and spray guns.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Meet deadlines and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of safety hazards and proper grounding procedures.
