Scott Engineering, Inc. - Manufacturing Painter Position

Scott Engineering, Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Painter to operate electrostatic and conventional spray guns for painting metal cabinets and interior fixtures. The role involves cleaning and maintaining spray booths and paint equipment, as well as assisting other departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Apply coating/paint using electric static airless spray guns.
2. Maintain painting equipment, including minor repairs and ensuring supplies are stocked.
3. Work effectively as part of a team and strive to improve skills and knowledge.
4. Apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings in a manufacturing environment.
5. Prepare surfaces, mix 2- and 3-component coatings, and operate application equipment.
6. Operate equipment such as forklifts, spray guns, and other specialty tools.
7. Work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Meet or exceed deadlines and schedules.
9. Follow all safety rules and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1-3 years related experience and/or training; manufacturing experience is a plus.
