Job summary

Benchmark is seeking an Electropolishing Technician in Mesa, AZ. You will process parts for surface cleaning (chemical etching and electropolishing) using chemical baths, operate machinery, rack parts, ensure quality, and follow strict safety and process protocols in manufacturing.

Daily tasks include loading/unloading parts, operating automated lift equipment, monitoring tank status, following SOPs, and interpreting results while collaborating with engineering to optimize production.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, observational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Chemical etching and electropolishing of metal part.
• Understand and follow the instructions and specifications from engineering.
• Load and unload parts onto racks for chemical tanks.
• Run automated chemical lines and setting up equipment.
• Clean tanks and ensuring equipment readiness.
• Follows appropriate safety guidelines including donning PPE.
• Assists with the preparation of chemical solutions.
• Visually inspects parts prior to processing.
• Performs post-processing inspection and packaging of parts.
• Keeps the work area neat and clean by sterilizing all work surfaces and equipment.
• Maintains stock levels of process materials.
• Works alongside engineering to optimize production process.
