Job summary

Leading Technologies Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to create and update electroplating work instructions for line operators and support PPAP activities for new and existing products.

You will collect SPC data, troubleshoot on the production floor, and collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production to improve quality and efficiency. A BS in Engineering and willingness to work on the floor are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, new graduates welcome
• Willingness to go onto the manufacturing floor
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office / Excel
• Knowledge of PPAPs / Control Plans / FMEAs (not required)
• Knowledge of SPC (not required)
• Knowledge of ISO / IATF certifications (not required)
• Team player, able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed work instructions of electroplating processes for line operators.
• Support PPAP activities for new and existing products, including preparation and revision of Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, FMEAs.
• Collect and analyze SPC data to monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot plating processes on the production floor, investigate quality issues, process variation, and other manufacturing problems.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality, throughput, process capability, scrap, material usage, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality, maintenance, and production to address high-priority items.
• Perform other duties and engineering projects as assigned.
