Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, seeks a Plating Process Engineer in Lincoln, Nebraska to support and improve electroplating processes used in electrical connector components. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive process stability, product quality, productivity, and material utilization while supporting new products and capabilities.

You will lead process improvements, analyze data, and support trials, validations, and equipment upgrades to sustain safe, reliable manufacturing and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial production operations in an engineering, technical, or process-focused role.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving process, equipment, quality, or production-related issues in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using data to identify process improvements and support problem-solving activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Analyze process data and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve manufacturing and product quality challenges.
• Plan and execute process trials, validations, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that increase process capability, yield, throughput, and material utilization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process improvements and corrective actions.
• Support process risk assessments, change management activities, audits, and compliance initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and training to employees supporting manufacturing operations.
